Local services

There are many ways that you can access local health services. It’s important that you choose the right one to ensure you get the right care, in the right place, first time. This section provides information about how to access the different types of NHS advice and support available to you.

The aim of the Access Policy is to inform patients, relatives and staff of their rights and what to expect from the trust.

The CCG ambition is to provide meaningful choice to our patients as per the NHS constitution.

People have a key role in protecting their own health, choosing appropriate treatments and managing long-term conditions.

NHS 111 is the number to call if someone needs medical help but they are not in a life-threatening situation.

GPs and other healthcare professionals caring for you, keep records about your health and the treatment  you receive from the NHS.

We strive to improve the health and quality of life for all care home residents in Berkshire West.
